Well, I've decided that after Christmas, I'm going to get an Mnandi. I don't have anything I want to trade evenly for one, and don't want to spend the $ for one until after I've gotten Christmas presents taken care of. I had one some years ago, got rid of it because it was too small for my uses and quickly traded what I got for it. Having become a slipjoint convert, and carrying knives that are smaller than most, I decided that instead of pursuing elusive ironwood or Native American graphic Sebenzas, an Mnandi could be more easily obtained. The one I had had the old nail nick, and was easy to open in my opinion. S30V, bloodwood or cocobolo I believe. I see that some features have changed on the Mnandi. Right now, I have a micarta classic large Seb, a 21 micarta large Insingo and a new pivot Umnumzaan. After searching the forums and doing the good old Google search, I've found there is not as much of a variety of inlays as there was. I'm not looking for any flashy woods, cocobolo is fine. I would like to see some comparison pics if possible of the new vs old Mnandis. I know that CRK makes a great knife, I have three and have had about 15 over the years
(just realized, wow). Thanks for the information.
