Mnandi Discontinued?

So BladeHQ marks the Mnandi as discontinued, and the only ones you can find in any stores right now appear to be dammy versions. I'm guessing the S35VN version is discontinued and they are just waiting to start pumping out the S45VN models?

(Forgive me if this was answered elsewhere, I searched but came up empty handed.)

To play it safe I went ahead and ordered a carbon fiber Mnandi with basketweave damascus...

Oh thank goodness! A mnandi has always been on my wish list! Thought I might have to scrape together the funds to go out and buy one now!

No this one will be good! The “lock rock” will appear when they apply the ceramic ball lockup on the Rev 3

I just joking around of course. No news of a Mnandi Rev 3 yet, but when and if it arrives, it will be interesting to see how it is accepted here.

It’s a knife I’m very conflicted about. It is so small. If it was twice the size (literally just blown up on AutoCAD and CNC’d) it would be the greatest folder on the market. If anyCRK model deserves a “large” and a “small”, let it be the Mnandi. Just pray what we have now is the small. I would not want it any smaller !!

I once was so obsessed with the idea of a large Mnandi, I made one out of paper to see what it would be like. Didn’t change my mind. Just made me want it more.

I just want someone to talk CRK into doing a blasted Mnandi with micarta inlays. I know the Mnandi is supposed to be a classy gentleman's knife, but how about a blue-collar gentleman?
