Mnandi... Fake or Real??

Seems real to me. The wood looks similar to Cocobolo to me though.
The good part is he's willing to do a return, so that way you could compare it against a real one you have.

Looks real to me. I also agree it looks like Cocobolo.

Good luck!!

The only red flag for me is that some of the fakes posted here before did not have the CR logo on the clip, and used a Torq head screw on the clip, and the seller isn't showing a picture of that part of the clip. Maybe ask for a picture of the clip?

Other than that, I don't have my Mnandi with me to compare against, but it looks real to me.

Interesting and good to know.

That knife looks genuine to me, I don't see the obvious differences that would indicate that it was a fake knife. The lack of box and papers is a potential sign of a fake but I have bought genuine CRKs with no box before. That wood looks like "African brown wood" rather than black wood to me though. :p

I have a sebenza with african blackwood, and in good photos with perfect lighting, it's quite obvious that it is brown. Examination in person it is very, very dark. It looks like a solid black until you look at it very closely. Might be seeing some of that here, though those photos are obviously far from decent quality.

Not that it matters, but judging form the pictures it looks real.
