Hello everyone! I just recieved a new cocobolo Mnandi yesterday. And it is such a beautiful knife. Very nice piece of work!
Anyways after playing with it for a bit. The lock up on it it looks fairly late. Isn't it the same lock system as the sebenza? Anyways I will post some pics later to show the lock up. And let everyone enjoy the new addition. Let me know what you think. Thanks

Looks perfectly normal for a CRK knife. Don't put too much thought into it. Many CRKs have a much later lockup than that. You won't see it migrate much, and even if it does (over a decade or two), a quick trip to the shop will set you straight.

Here she is! It has solid lockup, no blade play, and is super sharp, Wow! I love this pattern on this cocobolo. It almost looks like lava flowing! This is my first Mnandi and first gentlemans folder as well. This folder is definitely a looker! I chose the cocobolo as my first inlay because it is so resilient to dry and wet enveriments cause of its own oil production. As well as being one of the more dense exotics out there :)

Haha! Yeah I hear ya there! Sometimes it just gets the best of me. Thanks for the reply

Matches my cocobolo mnandi almost perfectly, the newer ones seem to have a later lock up than the early generation models. Great knife, go out and enjoy it!

Very nice pattern on your Cocobolo. I agree the lock up looks within normal range to me.
My user is a Cocobolo and I bought it for similar reasons as you.

Don't sweat the small stuff. My Sebbie 25 has a latter lockup than your folder. If it was a Strider, then worry.
