Mnandi Magnacut next update?

I’m pretty new to Crk, as my only other knife is a Benchmade from a few years ago. I apologize if this is an old topic. Is there any chance of seeing a Magnacut Mnandi this year? It’s been several years since the last update and the Mnandi seems popular enough to warrant it. Yet, looking on the CRK website and the crazy lead times, that just doesn’t even seem to be an option for six years? Has CRK always had long lead times on their knives or is this something recent?

Those lead times are for you placing an order today from them directly. Dealers get the VAST majority of knives made and they get them regularly.
As for the Mnandi going to MC it will as will all production but I would expect it to be last. MagnaCut is a steel that real “shines” from use. The Mnandi isn’t known as a real user. I would bet 95% never see use and the other 5% see lots of mail.

The large Mnandi has always been my dream knife. I totally agree. CRK should just blow-up the dimensions of the knife on AutoCAD and make it exactly the same, only larger.

Honestly the only reason my Inkosi is in my pocket and not my beloved Mnandi is I had a couple times the Mnandi just wasn’t enough knife for the task presented. The Inkosi is really more knife then I need on a daily basis.
A large Mnandi would be perfect.

I would be kinda like a modern “Texas Toothpick”, but in a very good way.

Large Mnandi would be a knife of legends if the ever produced it. I cannot imagine it would be a flop.

I wear my damascus mnandi to church every Sunday. I've even had to occasionally put her to use beyond opening snacks for the kids. That little knife recently opened a giant box of candles with ease.

I sold my 1st 2 as I felt they were just too nice to use other than church carry. It was only after getting my carbon fiber one that I was able to start using it as it just seemed less “pretty and delicate “.
I still would not use a nice inlay the way I use mine.
