Those of you who missed out Mnandi with mammoth bark inlays after CR has announced that they stop using mammoth, may want to take a quick look at the knife shop site with the 3 letters, originally located in the true north :-)

I picked 2 and I am happy that I've got this chance, which I did not expect anymore since CR stopped producing them.

Wow that's a lot of mammoth barks... :D Sadly, I am not into Mnandis... Congratulations to you James...

congrats, i assume you got the nice bark ones, I would have been tempted on one of them but they were all gone when i got there......................like the BW blades also....

Is the mammoth really done?

I remember hearing that before like a year or longer ago and they still were made available eventually.

Nice score btw

I bought the last 2. That's why I said no more :). I think I actually got one of the best on there. We shall see. I did have problems with the check out system, so I have to get with Neil to fix some stuff, but I was able to secure them.

You have quite the impressive collection going X. Congrats on a couple more great scores!

Hey guys just want to throw this out there. I had a problem checking out because of my phone. Neil was a great guy gave me a call back, and helped me to resolve my check out process. Great knives, and prompt service. Have to appreciate people like that. Thank you.

The company is successful because they (Neil) give great service. It always kinda annoys me that if you google their business, as a quick way to reach the site, you always get a link to some youtuber smack-talking them, which of course leads to more YouTube views, and a higher Google ranking for that negativity, and so on.

Anyways, doesn't seems to have put them out of business. I am on my third purchase from them, and will likely send more of my money their way in future.

Well. As I was the first one to be there I did have the full choice. I like to have each available inlay material - with damasacus blade - into my little collection. So I needed to have one mammoth bark and the only mammoth ivory which was listed. At first I selected also the one on the large picture which XxdrpxX posted. But I found the lockbar side less attractive, as it is almost plain white. So I went for the other one with the creamy white color and the brown patterns on both inlays.

The brown color of the mammoth is not my cup of tea. I like to have the white/cream color. But hey. Personal preferences which are fine being different, because this way all of us are happy with their catch.

That's why i like mammoth, they're all different and all OLD!!! I now have 27 mnandis in my collection of which 24 are mammoth with 3 more inbound 2 of which are mammoth(the non-mammoth inbound will be one of my favorites as it has african blackwood, gary house zebra damascus and the special gold/diamond inlay)
congrats to all you guys that scored at TNK, their price was a bargain also!!!

James, ty BTW for the heads up. It actually worked out well for me, as I already have some mammoth mnandis that look just like the ones you got. The two i got will help to deversify my collection. I was not trying to say that yours were any less attractive. Had all 4 been there I would have taken all of them ;)

Awesome scores guys, congrats. I'm casually looking for a Mnandi, the mammoth is beautiful!
