mnandi, new verses old model clip and nail nick

comments on the different models? i have some of each, like the newer clip but that's just me.
I'm curious what others think

The more I look at it I think the new design is more refined. At first I was of the opinion that it was not as cool, but in this case I think Chris set out to improve the beauty of the knife with the new nail nick and clip. I guess it took away the one handed opening feature, which some miss. Then again my opinion is of little consequence as I've owned neither version, but am working up to it.

The nail nick of either style is fine by me, they both work just the same and I think they both look ok. I'm not a fan of the new clip and pivot though and much prefer the old style of both.

I prefer the new clip, I think it has a more finished look without the screw showing.
I don't mind the new nail nick but I don't like the new blade finish and detent that come with it. I don't mind this as much on one with a Damascus blade though.
I don't really have a preference when it comes to the pivot.

I have and use both, and prefer the newer version. I like the stronger detent of the new model, as well as the cleaner look of the clip. The one handed opening is moot to me.
