Mnandi, on it's way! What to expect...?

This will be my first. (cocobolo) I had a spark that was turned into a forest fire by a certain thread on here. (No animals were hurt or burned in this process. Only my wallet, which used to be part of an animal, I guess. The inside lining seems to be scorched. Whatever money I had is gone.) :eek: Two CRK's in about a week! Thanks dinokay! (keepitsimple-most important, lisantica, hoodep and Mad-Maxx) Amazing pictures and collections. You all added to my addiction. Are we all just addicts who help each other along, deeper into the knife abyss? (I believe it to be pride of ownership) :thumbup:

Nice. Yeah....my family doesn't get it. Was thinking of letting my father carry it. He probably wouldn't get it. Probably dismiss it for the price point. He's always been happy with his pocket SAK. (Tweezers, toothpick and scissors) Bought him one is stainless handles recently. $20 goes a long way. :o

Do you have a favorite Mnandi Jan?
 
I own two, a new Desert Ironwood with the new clip (and I love the new clip) and an 07 Camel Thorn that I took the clip off and carry in a crk sheath. I held off buying a mnandi while I was in my crazed sebenza buying phase because I concluded that the small seb was way more knife and can be just as much a gents folder. I still think that, but I now get what the mnandi is about: inlays. The wider inlay allows for more of the grain to come out. It is a very functional little knife too and that is a tricky combination to pull off. Like a beautiful pick up truck, you know it's built to work but it's beauty is what catches your eye.
 
You are going to hate it! The Mnandi is the WORST CRK!!! You should send it to me ASAP for disposal!

Well said. Or a luxury sedan. A BMW or Cadillac that's top of the line...all the bells and whistles with an amazing engine under the hood that has more horses than most cars built for speed. (Built for luxury and speed)
 
It is light, cute, sharp
a HELL of a pocket "forget about it's there" knife
