i am debating picking one up. i am wondering what else is out there in the same price range. i am looking at one with a damascus blade. i wear a suit everyday and need something that is sheeply friendly. i need one that has a clip since i find it easier to carry clipped to my waist band. WAMO?

thanks

You might want to look at some of the William Henry offerings also. If you like the Mnandi you definately won't make a mistake by getting one. I carry one regularly and it takes care of anything I need to do in an office environment and then some.

By almost all accounts, the CRK Mnandi is a beautiful knife and I'm sure you'd be pleased with one. Not sure what price you're willing to pay for a damascus Mnandi, but I'll just assume NIB and maybe allow extra cost for inlay option. Here are a few gorgeous alternative blades in damascus that recently caught my eye (price range $500-$700):

Canoe by Dan Chinnock
Damascus & Gold Lip Pearl Folder by R.B. Johnson
Damasteel & Black Lip Pearl Folder by Theuns Prinsloo

Good luck! :)

I love my Mnandi.

It's just got the plain s30v blade, but MAN does that thing get sharp. Does everything I ask of it.

Honestly, I'm not sure I even would prefer to have the Damascus steel on this one. Of course, I wouldn't turn you down if you offered me one :D

rb has some nice looking stuff. i might go with a plain mnandi (i rather not carry something to expensive anyway) and look at getting something custom in ivory and damascus.
