i was just wondering how's the clip on the mnandi. im thinking about getting one but was just curious if it moves around at all, seeing as how it only has one screw to keep it in place, or is there something that keeps it moving from side to side.

Mine hasn't. I love mine- one of my favorite folders.

I took mine off the minute I got it and carry it in a leather A G Russell
pocket sheath. I hate pocket clips.

I happen to love the clip on the Mnandi. You can put it in a shirt pocket, and it looks like a pen clip.

The clip doesn't move at all. There is a small post (pin) on the bottom of the clip that seats into a hole in the frame, to keep it from moving off position. It's very well made.

My experience mirrors that of the other posters here. I've never had the clip move or get loose on me, and it is a nice inconspicuous clip that gathers no unwanted attention.

The only problem I ever had with a Mnandi clip was my fault. I flopped down into a chair and it snagged on a pronounced cushion seam. I put my whole body weight on it as I was sitting down (obviously), and it torqued the clip out to approx. a 45 degree angle away from the knife. However, I just took it off and gently bent it back and it was as good as new -- no looseness, subsequent play, weakening, etc. I was just glad I didn't lose the Mnandi!

While, I don't have a Mnandi anymore (traded it for a Busse and some other stuff) I think that the clip was the high point of the knife to me. Its one of, if not the best pocket clip available on any knife currently made. I even made a thread about it with some pics if you want to search.

Edit: Check this thread for close up pics of the Mnandi pocket clip. Also, like somebody already said, the clip has a small pin, so it will not move, even though it is secured with one screw. Strider does a similar thing with their pocket clips.
