The Mnandi is still one of my favourite knives. It has got a classic and timeless look. It fits perfect to the german "bauhaus-art-style" of the early 20th century.

I love my mnandi, usually carry it for more dressy occasions when the Sebenza is just too big :)

WOW!!! Nice pics! DarkBlue and Kram18, Can you please mention what types of Damascus those blades are? (Ladder?) Are they stainless or high carbon? (If high carbon, is staining/rust an issue?) They're really beautiful! Thanks!

Hi davemc

You´re right! The blade on my Mnandi is Ladder-Damascus from Devin Thomas.
It´s a stainless blade.

Thanks DarkBlue and Kram18, I appreciate the information. I don't know if you saw my post from yesterday, "newbie question: which Damascus best matches Snakewood inlays," but I just ordered a Mnandi with Snakewood inlays and Raindrop Damascus. After seeing your Mnandis I am convinced that the Ladder pattern looks even sweeter than the Raindrop.

Thanks again!

all beautiful knives!! I'm waiting on my Mnandi-Snakewood with reptillian damascus blade...BTW filosofem, what inlay is that on your pictures? I really like the black color-Tony

Filosofem, is that a Nomos Tangente? I believe that watch has exhibition back with a beautiful gold plated movement...the ETA/Peseux 7001 with Glashütte sunburst decoration. If that's the same watch, it's a very nice piece. I love that Teutonic simplicity of watches from Saxony.

Hi davemc,

yes, it´s a Nomos Tangente. It´s realy a classic design and a great pice of workmanship. My favourite watch since years.

My Mnandi also has African Blackwood inlays. I really like the "traditional" quality that they give to a very innovative knife.

I love the Mnandi. Had a snakewood version (before it was stolen  ), now have a walnut inlay model. I will definitely be adding another to my CRK collection.
