Mnandi pics ( disassembled )

Does anyone have any pics of the Mnandi disassembled. There used be one in the sticky up top but it must have been deleted. I googled and searched the forums but cant seem to find any. Im really interested to see the size of the lockbar from the inside and also wanted to know if there was a pivot bushing. And also just see how many parts there are. Thanks!
 
Here ya go. This is a pic that I had in my files. Its very similar to a sebenza, but the mnandi does have a couple extra pieces as you can see.

thanks nyefmaker thats half what i was looking for haha. should said it in the op but i would like to see the scales flipped so i can see the inside of the lockbar. but thanks again appreciate it. your pic definitely still helps.

I think it was Buffalo Horn.

When I get some free time in the next day or so, I will talk one of my mnandi apart and take a pic of the other side. I used to have 6 of em, but traded and sold several off. I am down to a cocobolo with SS Basketweave Damascus ( my first mnandi and CRK damascus ) and a S30V English Walnut..........I have had several in Bocote, Camel Thorn, Ironwood, etc. The Camel Thorn was absolutely beautiful. Funny thing is I don't even remember selling it or trading it....lol. Must have been when I was on my Xm-18 kick.
 
Maybe these will be more of what you had in mind..........I have a scratched up blade user mnandi that I got in a trade awhile ago. I keep it in my paracord tying tool box pretty much all the time. Today when I needed a knife to open cement bags, I figured if I used the user mnandi to open the bags, it will give me an excuse to tear it down for a cleaning........I know, pics or it didn't happen right.....? Well, here you go, mnandi in use.......in concrete.........!!!

Also, when torn down, I took pics of the backside and the lockbar in particular, so you should have what you were looking for.........Enjoy...!!!

You should have seen the pics I posted awhile back cutting shingles with the umnumzaan and tar paper with my NCIS large regular sebenza.....lol. It wasn't as bad as the pics show actually. But I do use my knives. I really don't have any CRK safe queens, though some are special to me and I would not part with them. As for the mnandi, I took it apart, cleaned it up, re-lubed it and put it on the sharpmaker and its as good as new.
 
good pics, getting a mnandi and they helped a lot! good to see hoe the inlays are made and that it does have bushings!

I love that pic of the Mnandi getting used!! Would love more pics like that lol =)
 
Still, I cringe. I grew up around concrete - my dad had a redi-mix concrete business and a construction business too. That powdered limestone is very abrasive and gets everywhere. All of my tools get used for sure. Some tools get used harder than others. Kudos for using your tools, but dude, carry cheeper knives too. ;) Actually, I use a shovel point to open bags like that.
