Mnandi question

I got this perpetual itch to buy a mnandi...

Can they be self-serviced? I have never seen one broken down. Do they come with tools? Is breaking them down recommended or approved by CRK?

Do they have a date code stamped inside? I have looked through LW's history and progressive changes of the mnandi thread, but they are so subtle, I am not sure I would trust myself to correctly date a no-doc mnandi.

I have one that is from 2005. Came with the same tool my 05 sebenza came with.

They can easily be taken down just like a sebenza. They have the same bushing pivot system. It is difficult to date a no doc Mnandi. They do not have date codes but you can usually get a rough idea based on the pivot, nail nick, clip, blade steel, wood, etc.

How do the new style clips affix themselves to the knife? Does the screw run all the way through the back spacer and out the other side into a female thread of the clip or vice versus?

Thank you! Turns out i can't spell dessassimbel correctly in the search tool... Still kinda wanna see a new clip disassembled. Are the newer perforated washers similar to that use in the 21? Also, looks like the hole in the bushing is much larger respectively to the knife. Would have thought it would have been more congruent in size... Cool!
