Mnandi question

Hey all, quick question -- I dig the Mnandi, but I'm not a big fan of pocket clips, especially on smaller knives. It looks like the screw holding the clip on goes all the way through the barrel spacer. If so, I'm guessing that the clip cannot be removed without having a significant amount of screw sticking up from the scale. Trying to figure this out, because if the clip can be removed and the screw still fits flush, then I'll try to hunt one down. If not, it's a dealbreaker for me. Any insight regarding this is appreciated. Cheers!
