Here is a simple way to freshen up your Mnandi clip. This is nothing new really, but it's a cheap and easy fix, and it works well.
I'm the second owner of my Mnandi. And when I received it, the knife itself was nearly flawless, however the clip was very scratched.
The Mnandi clip has more of a stonewash/satin finish to it, unlike the beadblasted Sebs. Here's a shot of my beat up clip, as received.
Anyways, with nothing but simple green/yellow scotchbrite pad and and some light rubbing, you can restore the finish on the clip. It takes minutes.
Like I said this is nothing new, many have used scotchbrite pads to "antique" their Sebs. But I wanted to show this works well for restoring your Mnandi clip.
Here's the after shot.
After I removed the clip, I decided that I like the Mnandi clipless now. I think I will locate a CRK pouch and carry it deep pocket anyways.
