Mnandi Users

Without blowing any of the Mnandi collector's minds, I have a new Mnandi coming in and would be interested hearing about user's experiences. How is it at cutting? How far can you push it?

Does anyone have a really old user they could show some photos of the wear?

I joined officially recently but have been long time stalker of the forum. I have searched this topic but can't find what I'm really looking for.

Lots of beautiful collector knives (which I respect the mission) but not much feedback on users.

I hope there are some users....

I also could use some direction as to who has the best take down approach for cleaning.

I've been using a plain cocobolo mnandi for over 5 years. It's in the pocket a few times per week and used mainly for opening and breaking down cardboard boxes. The knife has performed amazingly. I clean off the tape residue with alcohol and I've kept it sharp. That's the only maintenance I've done. It's a great sized knife and is capable of most needs.

Just great as a general office knife...opening boxes and envelopes, cutting strings etc. I carry my first CRK, a Mnandi with Box Elder

I use my Mnandi as a table and steak knife. Due to its thin blade it's a great food cutter and slicer.
