Mnandi w/ Damascus

I just got my Mnandi back and after I loosened the screws and redid them I noticed some wiggle in the blade when I push side to side. My question is are Damascus blades more prone to wiggle because of the contact of the surface etching on it? My S30V Mnandi has aboslutely zero wiggle like it's welded in place. I'm not sure if it's something I did or if it's just the way Damascus is because I just got it back from CRK for the same problem. Thanks.
 
I never noticed any "wiggle" in my damascus Mnandi's. But then again, I never disassembled them.

I took it apart and put it back together again and now it's much better. I think something wasn't sitting right in the pivot.
