I'm trying one out right now, it's a really nice knife. There can be no doubt about that, for some reason I'm having feelings of not keeping it. I truly like it, but something just feels off to me.

Don't get me wrong, the knife is perfect in every sense of the word in regards to the knife, perfect lock up, extremely smooth action, great everything.

I feel like an Ummmy (forgive me, I won't spell that write on the first try.) is more my speed.

For the record it is Snakewood.

I agree, an Um nom nom would compliment that Mnandi nicely.

Go for both ;)

Don't feel bad. I've gone through a couple of Mnandum (Mnandies?) myself, and while they are very nice little knives I prefer a small Seb for office carry. Of course, a Large is still my go-to knife for anywhere "out-of-the-office".

I traded my Mnandi for a custom folder, it was just too small for my bear paws. If I can comfortably carry my Case peanut or Victorinox classic, I can comfortably carry an Mnandi. BTW, the Umnumzaan is a great knife.

Beautiful knife. I've been thinking of trying one (Snakewood is my preference too) and seeing yours makes me want one more. Should you decide to sell it, I'm sure will go fast (just give us a heads up).

I purchased and carried a small Sebenza for a while before I purchased my Mnandi. I really thought it was 'small' for quite some time. I carry and use it more now than my small Seb. It really is a great knife. You might want to give it a month or so before you decide to part with it.

I have one Mnandi and 16 Sebenzas. I may buy more but it just hasn't flipped my switch the way the Sebenza does.

I have the same knife. I also have a small sebenza. I normally switch them off wearing the mnandi during the week and the sebenza on the weekend. That snakewood mnandi is a keeper. Give it some time before you sell it.
