MOAB or MOABOLO?

Which one would you choose to carry out heavy chopping tasks? and Why?

Ok, MOAB is about 6 cm longer than but what about the blade geometry (BOLO shape), it’s not playing any role while carrying out such tasks!
 
I personally would not be able to resist either. Having said that, MOAB for the extra (?) Length.



Then again, why not MOASK?

Both are awesome, but the MOAB definitely bites harder and deeper. Both were available for people to use at my last camping trip, and I don't think anybody there felt otherwise about the matter.

I'm, i guess, in the minority. I own and love a full flat Moabolo... I own one of these compared to a Moab for one reason. I carry it everywhere with me in my tactical bag. If the Moabolo were another inch longer it wouldn't fit in the bag. It's the most knife i can conceal daily. The Moab wouldn't fit, plain and simple. It does bite deeper but can't travel as under the radar. Anytime I've used it people are surprised that a giant blade just lives in the tac PAC...

I had a custom shop wtf and it paled in comparison to the Moabolo... Ask me which one i sold in under a day

Haha, that is pure awesomeness, and I applaud you for putting a Moabolo in your pack! My pack knife is a NMFBM, but perhaps I'm just being too wimpy.
 
I miss my MOAB, but was way out of my tax bracket. I'm hoping the 1/4" BB13 will do when it arrives.

I've had both and used both. The MOAB is better in every aspect of blade ownership. It also doesn't have those dreadful cbt's. :eek:

This is the correct answer, MOABOLO all day every day over the MOAB. I have owned a safe queen MOAB, it is just a bit too much of a good thing IMO… handling it was cumbersome to say the least. Perhaps it would be great for someone much larger than myself, then there's also the whole pack thing… good luck finding one you can fit it in LOL.
