So after much beating on the provider, bladeforums now has sexy gig-e to the database server. Thanks to the bloated garbage which is vbulletin, this became necessary. currently the database traffic is almost 130mbit. Hopefully this speeds things up some.

I was 'testing' it myself, last night, by bouncing around to different sub-forums on the site, areas I don't often or ordinarily visit. I figured none of those areas had cached anything onto my system yet, so it seemed a good way to see how fast everything loaded from the site. Very speedy, everywhere I looked. I'm impressed. :thumbup:
