I have bought and sold three small CRK, inkosi, sebenza micarta and starbenza. They all felt too small in the hand, the length and width of the scale is just a bit off for myself and I have medium to med/small hands.
So I picked up a large 21 and am likely going to venture down the road of modding it into a medium size since the large is just a bit too large for edc for myself personally.
Has anyone ventured down this road before?
Plan would be to shorten the blade to 3.25" and scales proportionately, also create a friendlier butt on the side of the scale that your hand enters your pocket.
I have a sage 2 which has not been bumped out of pocket due to the medium size not being offered. The sage is pocket friendly getting your hand it and out but the leaf shape blade is too tall and creates a knife that is too wide for it to be perfect in my eyes. I have also thought about modding the sage since it is a less expenive user which could be done by using some S30v and plug the factory hole/tig weld and then re-profile the blade and redrill the spydie hole.
I am likely going to do the seb 21 since I would rather carry a USA made knife.
