I have recently acquired the duane dieter markII and have aquestion about it. The blade gives slightly in each direction and clicks against the sides and lock. Is this normal in plunge lock knives, or other kinds of knives, because I have never owned a plunge lock. I don't think anything is wrong, the knife is only two days new, but I would like to know anyways. Thank you much.

Mine doesn't move at all in any direction. Have you tried tightening the pivot screw? Maybe that'll help. If it doesn't, I'd send it back. I've heard MOD service is excellent. Best of luck with it.

Thanks for the advice. I tightened the pivot screw all the way then turned it barely back so the knife barely opens and it still wobbles slightly. I put on the spacer for the clip and a spring and ball bearing fell out, but I replaced them exactly as they were, nothing about the original makeup of the knife has changed. Plus I didn't think to check if the knife wobbled before I added the spacer on the clip, but as I said the clip is screwed down tight and maximum pressure is being put on the knife blade, plus it not only wobbles side to side, it moves back and forth slightly. Can you spell L E M O N?
