I got a MKII for ny Bday in late July and had to send it back because sometime that night it got wrist flicked. Do NOT wrist flock plunge lock knives! The inertia of the wrist moving the knife causes something to go wrong inside and the blade wobbles ina ll directions. I just got it back today, fixed and ready to go. I gotta say that MOD handled fixing the knife EXTREMELY well, Jim Ray the owner of MOD, the guy who started it, called my house and told me what was wrong! Great Service. I have o ne question for you guys out there. The button to release the plunge lock is stiff and sticks sometimes, how can I cure this? Or will this just wear off after awhile? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After posing my question, and worrying for about an hour abour my knife. I went into the garage and pulled out the allen wrenches and found one that fit. After about 5-10 minutes of tweeking the pivot pin I finally got the knife to where the blade doesn't woblle at all, can be opened easily, and the plunge lock doesn't stick. Olied the baby up and Iam ready to go. Also, speaking of oils, I use either White Lightning or Tuf Glide. I like white lightning better, you can fell the difference right away, where as Tuf Glide takes about a day of working to get the knife smooth. What oild do you guys prefer for your knives? Also, any way to keep brass clean for longer than a week. I have two Buck folding hunters, one from 2001 and one from my dad he got back in the 70's. I clean the brass, but can't seem to keep it shiney for too long.

My old trick: Car wax (with carnuba seems best)works well on protecting and keeping about any metal shiny, Might try it on the brass.
