MOD CQD questions

Hello to all: I just got a MOD CQD I and CQD II that I will be taking with me overeas soon. I need forumite experience to get these knives ready. Questions are below

1. Reversing the pocket clip. It is not as simple as unscrewing, moving the pocket clip and retightening. Please let me know how to set the pocket clip for a leftie.

2. CQD II opening. It is a little rougher than the CQD I. I think there was a post some time ago about this. Please help.

Not sure about the pocket clip since I don't have my CQD in front of me but I don't know why you couldn't just unscrew the clip and move it.

Anyhow, what I have heard about the pivot pin that suddenly tightens up so you can't open the knife is that you should unscrew it and turn it around. I haven't bothered to do this with mine since it just sits in the drawer and looks menacing. If I decide to carry it though, I'll turn the pivot around.

It seems really stupid to me. I can't imagine why MOD hasn't fixed that problem. After all, a knife you can't open quickly is just about useless especially if you were in a combat situation. Go easy and come back safe!
