I love this knife. The top edge looks as if it could be ground to be a cutting edge. Who could do that kind of work for me? I don't trust myself not to screw up my knife.

Bayashi - it's CQD....
CQB is Terzuola's fixed blade model. I think you can purchase the folder with it's false edge sharpen but you have to be in the military or emergency rescue unit.

What about re-posting this in the 'Shop Talk' forum and ask about knifemakers working from your state. If you're lucky, one of 'em might volunteer some time at their shop to get the thing done for the price of a couple of beers - though not before doing the work
