I only received my Mark 1 auto yesterday and it needed some TLC, so I took it apart cleaned scraped and oiled her up before re-assembling. Now the main pivot pin has a hex and it is completely tightened the blade will not eject when the button is depressed.
However when I SLIGHTLY loosen it the knife travels perfectly, the problem is that at this point the blade is being forced onto the release mechanism and the button sticks ever so slightly when pressing it.
Now I only had it for a few hours before tinkering so I am not sure if it did this before, and really its no issue as it locks up, and opens nice n tight, but it niggles me that its not as smooth as it could be.
I oiled pretty much every component, including the small washer that sits inside the blade, was this a mistake, i used both gun oil and blade oil
Did I screw up, please help.
