I just picked one up off Ebay for $65 but don't know much
about it. I just know MODs are pretty expensive knives, and it
was in great shape, so why not? Has anyone ever had one
and what was your overall impression of the knife? I do know it
is a fairly small folder. How was the lockup, handle and edge
holding of the 154cm?

Thanks

Wow, great price. Tough little knife with a thick blade. I beleive you got a good deal on that one.

nice price on a great knife! my only complaint about it was the pocket clip, and that was that i like tip-up carry as opposed to tip-down. :)

Super knife for that price. I think they make a cheaper Hornet II now. The older ones have nice thicker liner locks. 154CM steel is perfect for EDC. Great score if the knife is in good condition.

I finally got the Hornet today(UPS takes forever). It's
a neat little knife and talk about heavy duty! Solid lockup
and thick blade! I've been missing out on MOD all these years.I do
wish it was tip up also, but it's so small I could just throw it in a pocket. I think this one will become a gateway to more MODs...:)

Heres some specs, assuming this is the one you bought
