Who's selling them with non-black, serrated blades? How do you like yours? And what's a good price? The note below is from premium knives - any suggestions as to what finish to get? I've read that bead blast isn't a good finish but I'd rather not get the black.

Also, the Hornet is tip down - could the clip be mounted the other way for tip up and who could drill the holes?

BLADE FINISH OPTIONS: Satin polished, Matte double bead blast, Satin gloss black DLC, Stealth matte black DLC.

I have a Hornet that I carried vary briefly. My biggest problem with it is that the lock is not solid at all, one quick rap to the spine and it will close everytime. There is no blade play and the knife hasn't been abused or even used very much. Unless they have changed the format in the last few years the clip is not reversible from tip down to tip up. The knife handles well for it's intended function and the ergos are good. For my money this knife just isn't something I would trust for EDC and sure as hell wouldn't want for SD (due to the lock). Sorry to Pee on your parade maybe someone else has had more encouraging expieriences.

Thanks for the 411 Lobo,I WAS thinking of getting one myself.A folding knife must have a strong lock.

I haven't found any problem with the lock-up on my two auto hornets. I think it's a truly great knife. I would personally avoid one with skateboard insert as it looks and feels awful even if it works very well.
