Mod my Manix 2

So, I created the color poll in another forum to get a idea on what color to mod my Manix 2. As of tonight Coyote Brown was leading the pack so down to the shop I went.

First I dissembled and cleaned everything. I then media blasted the liners with 120 grit aluminum oxide and blew them off with shop air. In the oven for a bit to make sure that all the contaminants were gone. After it cooled into the spray booth for a treatment of Coyote Brown Cerakote. Back in the oven for a few hours and then greased, and reassembled it all back the way it came from the factory.

Here are a few pics of the finished product......I plan on doing many more this way so stay tuned......

How is the opening/closing feel once it's been coated? Is it much different than stock?

With a little "fine tuning" and lube it is good to go!

Bright white or international orange wouldve been a cool secondary, but I love any type of "deserty" color! looks great
