MOD Nightwing Questions.

Hey guys.

Do any of you have any experience with the MOD Nightwing knife?

I'm wanting to get one but I want ot be sure it is a good knife overall.

I have a MOD Mark 1 Auto that I LOVE. It has been through alot of rough times (like falling out of my pocket this winter and laying in the driveway for 3 days getting run over and showed on) and it works fine.

The only thing I don't like is the Wingwalk inserts (sort of like a sticky sand paper). The ones on my Mk1 sort of start to come off if I push on them, but I'm thinking that this is because the knife has been lost in the snow for 3 days and that might of loosened the wingwalk inserts.

Has anyone else had any problems with the Wingwalk stuff coming off?

Is there any place I could go to get new handles made for the Nightwing?

In terms of the Wingwalk inserts coming loose, send it to Blackhawk Industries/MOD and they will repair it for you if they are loose.

With the nightwing, I have no personal experience, but It's likely you could get custom handles from a local knifemaker.
