So I've been thinking about getting a Vic compact. However they seem to exist in another dimension. A parallel earth where smaller SAKs are more valuable.. Or I'm in Australia. Either way, Ive been kicking around the idea of putting together a custom from donors, since that might be a more fun, and as expensive way to do it. But here is the thing, what do I put into it? I want the hook because I can, and that fits with the scissors. I'm thinking the big blade, and an awl instead of the corkscrew. pretty much all wine here is twisty-tops, and there are plenty of non-elegent ways to get into wine. The final piece would be something on the main blade layer, options being combo opener, can opener, and small blade. Small blade is kinda nice, but I do run into non-twist beers here as often as not. So a combo tool would be handy. I figure the one time I need it as a can-opener its worth having. I could make it a three layer, but pretty much any and every combo is available in that size, and I'd just have a climber (although a climber with the second blade replaced with a philips would be awesome)
Anyway, any really huge flaws in this plan?
