I'm gonna try this one more time in case anyone missed my previous post.

Does anyone have one of these knives? I'm interested in it because it is small and has a DLC-coated blade. It also uses a plunge lock mechanism. A review or comments would be greatly appreciated. Any chance for a passaround?

Thanks!

BTT

Last time for this subject, then I guess I'll just go buy the knife and evaluate it for myself. I would think that someone here would have or at least would have held and fondled one of these knives...

It doesn't seem like anyone has one of these yet.
There have been a few posts about them, but no one said they bought one. Everyone seems to like the look of them, and the price is right.

MOD makes a good knife. I don't think you would be disappointed if you bought one. Give us a report if you do.

^&%%$@#&%$#!!!!

I want info too!

Yes, people replied to the last post, but what Drivie wants ( and myself ) is experience not speculation or observation. My own observation was that the blade looks kinda goofy with a giant handle.

lesoleilnoir,

I'm pretty close to buying it so I'll let you know. I have a Benchamde 705 right now and the handle length is 3.8" and the blade length is 2.95". Supposedly the STF-685 has a handle length of 3.95" and a blade length of 2.9" so they are very close in size. There is a 0.1oz difference in weight as well.

Now I just have to try to find the best price possible for the knife so I can get it as a backup. I'll let you know if I get it what I think but I'm far from being a knife expert so I'm not sure I'll be able to give a good review.

Okay, I lied! I'm gonna bump this again.

Does anyone have one of these yet?

If not, I find it hard to believe that you guys call yourselves knife collectors :p

Thanks, I already found that thread and spoke to the seller. His comments were not good to say the least...
