Thanks for your input. I was looking at those too to sell. I was favoring the CQD half serrated personally, but will get both to sell.

Go to the exchange forums and do a search on each MOD model. That way you will see which ones are selling and for about what street price.

Thanks alot Esav!!! Guess I should have thought of that myself. Sometimes I need someone else to prod my grey cells for me.

Here's a link to a review of my Dieter CQDII that I did recently.

This knife has quickly become one of my fave daily carries and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Hi there!
I think this would get more responses at General, therefore it shall be moved, so say I, so say I all.

After spending a lot of time getting my CQD DD half serrated to a 20 degree angle, I have to say it is a superb! Blade! I finished it at last on an Ultra Fine Spyderco Benchstone and it pops hair! Remember, this is at 20deg per side NOT 15! IMHO why I dislike hlaf serrations, I think this knife needs them. It is a very hard use knife and the serrations work very very well. They are the sharpest serrations I have ever seen and cut like the wind. The lock up is very solid now I have tightened the pivot screw. Unlike many blades, the CQD can be very tightly tightened and still be smooth as silk. Just like the Sebenza.

Its big, a dinosaw, but I love it! Fit and finish are as ever first rate.

General..
Your right on..
I am not partial to serrations, but with the CQD its a must..

I have found the MOD CQD an excellent Tactical Tool..

Window Breaker, Web Cutter, Serrations, Spearpoint Plain Edge, Plunge Lock.. great accessories..

I have used the window breaker and seat belt cutter and both performed perfect..

A slight tap with the window breaker and a drivers door window shattered with ease..
No Probs on seat beats with Web-Cutter..

I carry it in the MOD Leather Sheath..

I've sold MOD for awhile but just recently got one of each in auto for my own self. (cause I'm worth it:^)

I have to say that MOD, IMHO, gives Microtech a run for their money. They are all straight as a die. Lock up like a crowbar, have ZERO blade play. (and I mean NONE) The finish is as good as Microtech as well.

In all fairness to MT I've only ever received 2 knives that weren't perfect (very slight blade play) so MT is still on my A list.

I love my Trident above the others but it's more design than anything else. The Tempest and Hornet are very nice too.

Just for the record the CQD is BIG. REAL BIG. Not a problem for a geared out guy but not a "pocket knife" I'd carry. Very solid though. Double lock, seatbelt/shroud cutter, carbide window breaker. Very nice but needs a trailer hitch.

The MEDIUM Dieter is out in manual and will be out in auto in a few weeks. I'm looking forward to that one.

The LADYHAWK is VERY VERY SMALL. So small that I sent my manual version back because I couldn't open it with the thumb stud and grip it at the same time.

Probably very nice for a LADY and the auto version might work but it's a chicklet sized knife and because of the football shape closed, it takes up more room than it needs to for it's size. If you like the style try MTs Kestral.
