I made a drop leg sheath for my 2. (Did not take pics of process though :grumpy: )

Here's the completed sheath

I folded over the top of the belt loop, stuck a maglite D-cell holster in it, and sewed it up.

I took out the screws for ease of sewing it on, and I lost one!! But, I did put on a nice leg strap.

Now, when I move my leg, it moves with it. the stitching has held up well since I did it. (About 5 days ago)

Looks good :).

If I were to do my drop leg again, I think I would try to change the angle that the knife is held on my leg to tilt the handle back a bit (makes it easier to get out).

Hey MrKnifeKid, I think I might have a spare one of those screws laying around from my scout style sheath. I'll see if I can find it, and then you can replace that missing one :).

Course, that depends if I can put one of those in a normal envelope :p. I'm a bit swamped with school right now, and won't have time to go to the post office for a while.

Did you put anything in the sheath to stiffen up the first?

Haha... ok, I found the screws while I was looking for something else (which I also thankfully found).

I'm still swamped with school this week, but slightly less so (only have 2 group projects due before tomorrow afternoon, and there are no tests this week).

Think a little screw like that can go through normal mail, or will I need an envelope?

Stick it in the normal mail. I only need the silver part though. Tell me where you are located then i will e-mail you my address. Thanks bud.
