Modded Buck knives.

Lots of 301's with more extensive mods than these but... with some slight variations I've made this one mine.

-modded spey blade into a spear and sheepfoot into a wharncliffe
-rounded blade spines (a la sebenza)

-filed kick to lower closed blades (comparison photo)
-broke all edges and rounded bolsters

fits like a glove, comfortable in use, all blade points well below frame, easy to carry, useful blade combination
It's now my favorite 301.

Very nice. I like this version a lot better.

Here is a simple mod I did to my 119 a couple years back. I ground down the back side of the gaurd to make the handle more comfortable. Then I beadblasted the handle to give it a little more grip. This is an old pic with an early attempt at a lefty sheath

Here's the new sheath I made a few monthes ago. I'm much happier with this one

My first re-handle attempt on a (rubber handled) 619

Bone stag and brass guard.

Later on I inherited an incomplete 119 rescue where my friend convexed the beat up blade but never got around to taking the broken handle completely off, before he passed away.

Here it is done in olive wood with a black 'arm band' of buffalo horn.
