Since I've started to make my own knives, I finally got the confidence to do some mods on my 9.

I de-ramped it and gave it a nice better sating finish on the bevels and swedge.

Let me know what you think. :)

I'd like to make some scales for it but I don't know how to do the hexagonal pocket for the nut. Does anyone have a tutorial for how to do it?

I think....I like beer. And your 9 looks great! And the hex pocket really depends on what your scale material is going to be. Wood? No brainer. Micarta? Hot bolt method I've seen used with success; best look in the maker's forums. G10? I hear that's a toughie.

I think I like it!
Go for wood scales - they look great, aren't too impossible to work up, and it looks like you have plenty around to practice on.
