Hi guys. Just did some mods to my favorite fixed blade, the CRK Nyala. Ive had my Nyala for a few months now, and Ive been using it as a hunting, fishing, and camp knife. It has always performed exceedingly well. I have never been crazy about the brown canvas micarta scales that came from the CRK, so I had Rival make some beautiful layered carbon fiber scales. He did an amazing job and they look stunning on the knife. He also made me the lanyard pictured, which I love. My blade was showing some serious scratches from a dirty sheath so I stonewashed them to a finish similar to what you would see on a Hinderer. It is a much more aggressive stonewash than CRK uses and It looks great on the knife in my opinion. I then reprofiled the edges to 18 degrees with my W.E.P.S and took it to a mirror polish. Thats it for now!
