While waiting to hear if I scored an Infimandu, I remembered I had another piece of Infi in the 5" range but I never carried or used it. I preferred my AMS or a RMD if I needed something a little bigger. I loved the blade on the PS but it wasn't as comfortable to me as the AMS. I didn't like the butt of the handle, how it would dig into my palm. Today I finally did something about it. This was the first time I took a Busse to the grinder... Garth's job is safe but I'm happy with my results :) Weight is closer to the AMS while blade length closer to the RMD. The PS was 6.4 oz and now its 6.2 oz (AMS is 5 oz, RMD is 10 oz). Its still a little butt heavy but more balanced now. The balance point is just behind the first hole in the handle.

Thanks guys. Rounding the butt a bit like the AMS definitely improved the feel. The lanyard hole is high on the PS though. I went a little too far and managed to grind into it. Once that happened, might as well take the rest off.
 
Oh man, that makes me miss my ol Pork Shank. I'm gonna have to score another one. Nice mod! :thumbup:
