So this beat up looking thing was my go to knife for my entire Army career. It's cut tires for Humvee push-guards, helped prep shelters on FTX, saved my life in Iraq etc, etc. Well a while back one of my buddies broke the very tip off by stabbing it into a 2x4, hit a nail I think. So it's been sitting in a drawer for about a year, figured it was time to show the old girl some tlc. Used a heat-gun and a phone book to take the rattle out of the sheath. Put a decent edge on the top, a razor edge on the blade proper and I fixed the tip. A guy at work offered to bead blast it but I kinda like the beat up look. Now it slides through almost anything like butter. Only thing that is a better stabber is my Desert Dagger.
