Hi Guys...
Thought I would post some pics of my latest attempt at pimpage
First I have to say...I have a new found respect for all knife pimpers, modders, and especially makers..whewww..this turned out to be more work than I thought it would be..but alas, it is a labor of love
. I'm sure w/ some proper tools this would be a little easier...this was done w/ a dremel and hand drill.
This is my first attempt at completely building a new handle scale from scrap material. I'm pretty happy with the outcome, but I've learned a few in process things that should make it go easier the next time around.
I love the Storm II, I think its one of the best "bang for the buck" folders on the market. Only problem I had with it that is was heavy, and a bit thin. So I tried building a new non-lock side handle scale. This one is made of Black Paper Micarta(I Will not be using this again, seemed way to hard to work with) So I'll probably be getting some G10 in the future for these type of things.
Well..I'll shut up now and post some pics. Thanks for letting me ramble and share my feeble attempts at knife pimpage. Feedback welcomed..good or bad:thumbup:
Thanks guys!
