Just talked to Reese Weiland. He's had them for about 3 years. I bought 1 and 2 for my wife and I to have a matched set of folders. I wave modded them and sent them to Reese. He is grinding the micarta scales flat and mounting L/R tip up clips. I should have them next week. Until then, post some Retribution porn for me.

Oh man, I've been eying one for a while now. Maybe this will push me over the edge so I'll finally pull the trigger.

It's just a little knife...

How's carrying this monster in a pocket? If you have ever done that before.

I've never tried it as there's no pocket clip stock, just a belt sheath. It looks like Maddogg774 has his set up for carry though and it'd be interesting to here what he thinks of the Ret. 1 in pocket.

It is really wide for a folder though, way bigger than it needs to be IMO so grinding the scales flat would be a neat mod for sure.

With that clip I don't even notice it's there, until I try to put my hand in my pocket or try to get my keys out. I love the "ergo" scales, much less fatigue than the flat scales of my Satu.

Good to know Maddogg, I may try adding a clip to mine as I love big folders and this one would be fun to edc...

Is it easy to drill the holes to put the clip on? And is that a cold steel clip?

Cold steel clip from a first generation el hombre. I just drilled into the scale, not the liner and used the cold steel screws.
