Alright, first up, I put a cool cord wrap on it.

Then I stripped the blade and put a forced patina on it. (stuck it in a pear overnight)

alright, here's me fail. I took it to the grinder and tried to put a different edge angle on it. I did not like the 15 degree edge angle. I am more of a fan of the 20 degree. As I was grinding the edge, My hand slipped and i ripped out a huge chunk of blade. I was mad at the grinder so I punched the wheel. Just kidding.:D Here's the damage.

Just make it serrated now and it will look like you did it on purpose

Dosnt look ruined probably will sharpen out. Maybe go vase shopping to make you feel better.

Ragnars website says that on the lower priced moras the edge frequently has spots along the edge where the temper is burned out during grinding. He says these areas should be honed until the affected steel is gone.I think psyop was right, and it will sharpen right out.
