Modding a BWM LE

Hey Busse fans,

was wondering if anyone was crazy enough to mod a BWM le with new handles with screws rather than fasteners. Will be receiving my BWM LE in a few weeks and I'm already thinking of ways of customizing it with some handles more akin of the famed Battle Mistresses.

Red handles with a touch of black would be extremely sexy with the BM claw design for the handle.

Anyone knows a custom makers that would create special Micarta handles compatible with the BMW LE. Or am I looking at having to make them myself from the ground up? Anyone tried before?

I really have'nt seen any handle mods done on the Bwmle other than Peter sanding his down to fit his hand better. You might be able to contact garth@bussecombat.com and ask him. Also Ban may take on this project too, he shows up around here from time to time. Hope this helps.
 
Justin Gingrich of Ranger knives has done handle mods. Also, Tom Krein might be another one.
 
Garth is doing some similar mods on a few Busse knives for me.

Quite reasonable, cost wise, and I like that it's factory-done.

Definitely check with the Custom Shop.

Bill Siegle did a handle mod on a FBMLE. Made it hand shaped. Don't think it was an order, I think it was his own knife, and I ended up with it.
