Modding a CS Spartan for Powernoodle

He gave me full creative liberty to transform his stock Spartan into something like mine. I immediately sketched out the new profile to the blade. After that was profiled, I ground a "working" edge bevel and went to the grip. I was going for a sub-hilt-ish kinda thing. I'm ceiling it quits for today at this point. Tomorrow, I will field strip the knife and contour the scales as well as mirror polish all the metal to metal contact surfaces. Lastly will come the finish grinding on the blade and cutting a small choil.

I think it looks sick. But the real improvement - for me - is to reduce the bulk in the pocket, and get rid of the kukri/recurve. :thumbup:

If you train on what I demonstrate in this video, you're gonna have a wicked reverse grip knife!

I like your handle CM better than the stock design. Seems like you would have more grip options with it. I'll bet powernoddle will be happy with the results.
 
The knife is finished. I'd ship it tomorrow but I have family obligations. I'll do a video later.
