Lately I've been eyeballing the Victorinox Ambassador. If it had a screwdriver tip on the file (like the one on the Classic SD, and Rambler) I'd pull the trigger for sure.

Anyway, this got me wondering if any of you have taken a Dremel and modified a regular, pointy file tip into an SD tip. Seems like it wouldn't be too difficult.

Get the Executive. I've had three over the past 25 years and they're much more useful than Ambassadors. To me an Ambassador is a grown up Classic and the Executive is an office version of a survival knife.

Gotta agree with Frank. If you're already in the 74mm class, why not get an executive. The exec is a grab knife, and a perfect edc for suburban carry. Has an extra blade and the SD tip on the orange peeler, so you get to keep the pointy nail file tip that makes a very good off the cuff small phillips driver.

Hey, if Chuck Yeager can spend two weeks in the Sierra Nevada mountains trout fishing with an exec, then it must be a heck of a big knife in a small package!!
