I have a couple Normark folders, a EKA and a Big Swede. The Big Swede come with a lanyard hole and the blade sits high enough to pinch but not so on the EKA so I decided a couple of modifications were in order. First was replacing the double screw rivet with a piece of hollow brass tubing. Now because the screw rivet keeps the knife from spreading I had to put a pretty healthy flare in the tubing I used and I have found that an old Enfield firing pin does a perfect job. I got the tube in and flared and proceed to file and sand a cut out to make pinching the blade easier. All in all this was about a 45 minute project and will result in me carrying and using this little Swede more often.

Always fun to do something like this, and making a knife more practical is a bonus. This really was easy, just have a clamp on the knife when you remove the back screws, the mainspring doesn't really have a pin other than that one...lol.

Nice work, that is the one I had back a long time ago,
actually had both as well, the really big one and the small
one, liked the smaller one better.
