Modding a Trance...

So has anyone taken the thumbstuds off the trance? I couldnt get them to budge.(any tips are appreciated) I would like to stick some of the tadgear h1 thumbstuds on it, will it work? The thumbstuds seem to be very very close to the same width, not sure about the actual bore though because i cant get the damn things off...

I think knife companies use red loctite which takes heat to remove so you could ruin the heat treat, but maybe try using a soldering iron and heat the stud alone. If you try this keep the dge cool with a wet rag. You also need to apply torque and heat at the same time.

I have untightened thumbstuds before without the heat. perhaps its becasue the knife is smaller
