Modding SAK's screwdrivers?

Though I have not had any major issues, I have found that sometimes the SAK flathead screwdriver is a bit slippery.

Can I safely file it flatter/more "square-edged" without hurting anything?

Thanks,
Bob

I have done that to many SAKs and other utility knives, it wont look as shiny/polished but will work better.

By the way, in my experience, the Vic soldier and the Wenger Standard issue tend to have a slightly less polished finish and a more square-edged screw driver, this does not happen with the other alox models though.

Sure can! I've done it to several of mine, the one's I use rather than just collect. Makes a big difference, especially on the smaller sizes.
