modding the workchamp with OH trekker blade

Hello all, I recently purchased the Vic workchamp. I have a OH Trekker and I was wondering if anybody has tried to add or modify the workchamp to include any extra tools. My intention is to take the OH blade and liner lock system and add it to the workchamp. I would also like to put some different scales on. Anybody know who or where this can be done? Thanks for reading.
 
Check out SOSAK , and SOSAK On line , thats where most of the SAK modders hang out .

+1 on SOSAK. In short the mods can be done, will require disassembly of 2 knives to make the one.
 
Ive been checking out sosak for a bit. Its been kinda hard to find who does the actual modding. both replies ive recieved stated that they were too busy at the moment. i might have to try to take on the job myself. I have had a hard time finding a solid tutorial on proper disassembly and SAK basics though. Any suggestions for the first timer?
 
I've heard from members here and at SOSAK that putting an OHT blade on another non-OHT 111mm knife can be a bit tricky.More difficult than a regular SAK mod. Apparently the pin hole in the OHT blade is not the same size as the pin-hole size in the non-OHT 111mm SAK's. Its not that it can't be done, its just more finicky kinda job.
I believe Bladeforums member revolvergeek has a very nice modded OHT (with added corkscrew and scissors).
 
It would just complete the most badass SAK of all time, god I still have trouble with not smiling every time I use that acronymn ... "SAK" ... biggest ... modifying your... which one do you EDC ... its juvenile and hillarious, and yet sacred, like the real thing. I love it.
