I have an old Model 1-6 (1966) and a new 1-8 (2019). The blade on the 6 is 1.125 wide and the handle to the end of the hilt is 4.50 inches long. On the 8 the blade is 1.375 wide and the handle is 4.875 long.

Can someone tell me what the same measurements are for a 1-5 and a 1-7? I assume the 5 is like the 6 and the 7 is like the 8.
 
It’s probably more random than that. Being hand forged made without any patterns, no two are alike.

The two knives you are comparing are 50 years apart made by different people.
